In 1638/39 he received 6.5 riksdollars and 1 ort in fine for having stabbed Ola Ellestad's son with a knife.
Most of the Møsaker farm was from ancient times owned by the Munkelivsklstret in Bergen. It came under national control in the time of reformation, but was still called the property of the munks in documents and tax registers long into the 1600s. Most of it was conveyed to private owners. In the middle of the 1600s it was owned by judge Hans Hansen and customs agent Herman Garman in Bergen. They bought the real estate in the 1650s and sold it again on 28 Sep 1662 to Kristoffer Olsen Møsaker, who was the current farmer. He was the first farmer-owner in Vang.
