  	His burial was not found in the 1762 records of the Vang Church Book.
  Notes	He farmed 98/2 N. Vøvle (Veblen) about 1744 to 1754, then farmed number 3 at Kvien (later farm number 96/4 Nordigarden Kvien) between 1754 and 1762. Andris Olsson had taken over Vøvle (Veblen, Veflen) in 1730 and gave it to his eldest son, Ola. Later, his youngest son, Hallvard Veflen, took over and lived there when Nils moved to Kvie. In 1757 Nils was sued by Knut Persen Klette because Knut claimed that he had a better right of inheritance to the farm. On 7 Jul 1759 Nils received the legal right to keep the farm, but Knut did not give up and brought the issue to the upper section of the parliament in Kristiania. On 17 Sep 1762 the decision was made that Nils had the best right. Nils continued to farm at Kvie until he died. Widow Rangdi received a letter in 1762 from Nils Hanssen, Hønefoss, about the decision in a legal action against Eivind Remmen (62/2). In 13 Feb 1772, a legal decision was made about a promisory note of 500 riks dollars between her and Trond Kristoffersson Kvie (from 96/1). It was decided on her behalf on 19 Oct 1772 to the benefit of her heirs, Ola Kristoffersson Kvie and the wives of Andris O. Kattevøl, Endre Jøvne, Helge Ellingbø and Torstein Høve. Torstein Nilsson worked on the family farm as a day laborer in 1789 and payed 1/2 riks dollar in inheritance tax, the same as the farmer at Kvie, his brother Kristoffer, who cared for their mother from 6 Dec 1777 to 12 Feb 1802.
