- Married his cousin, Martha, daughter of Joseph. Received into the membership of the Bradford church on 20 Jun 1720 and was one of the 101 first members of the new Congregational church organized at Groveland, Massachusettson 7 Jun 1727. His father died intestate, and in the settlement of their father's estate; the four sons bought out their sisters and agreed with their mother in deference to the rights of dowry. He died without making a will. Administration of his estate was granted to his widow Martha on 7 Feb 1736/37.
