  Notes	He would have inherited Leine 56/, but was in poor health and small, but well enough to have two wives. In 1767 he was 60 and 1/2 inches tall and it was said that he could have been a "good soldier," but it seems that he was too small and was not taken into the military. He and his first wife Ingrid A. Høverstad (1751-1772) had not children. She died soon after they married, perhaps in childbirth. Together with his second wife they farmed BErge 22/4 for awhile before they moved to Leineødegarden and turned over Berge to brother-in-law Knut Person. Later his wife Marit's daughter Marit from her first marriage with Arnfinn Person Berge took over the Berge farm with her husband Gullik Leine, Nils Olsen's brother. [3]
