  Notes	The closest entry in the churchbook christenings is for Thomes, son of Iver Knudsen Waarom and Ragnild Tollefsdatter, 12 Dec 1779. Witnesses were Marit Gulbrandsdatter Alfstad, Marit Mauritzdatter Alfstad, Engebret Andersen Alfstad, Tollef Pedersen Presthegge and Ülve Larsen Waarom. Ragnild was introduced to the church 18 Mar 1780. All other entries in the church book for children of Iver Knudsen and Ragnild gave her father's name as Tosten. There were no other similar combinations of husbands and wives. I think that this church entry is in error and that she should have been named Ragnild Tostensdatter. Listed as Tommes Iversson, age 20, unmarried and a farm laborer, under Alfstad, in the 1801 Census. His father was at Alfstad in 1787 and three of the witnesses at his christening were from Alfstad. There must be a family connection to Alfstad. [2, 5]
