- At time of death his obituary stated that he died at the age of 72 years, that he had resided in Wisconsin since an early day and seved in the legislature of that state, that he lost two sons in the army and had two sons living near Verndale, a daughter in Nebraska and one in Alexandria, Mrs. Parmeter. He died at teh residence of his son-in-law, F.A. Parmeter. He came to Alexandria to visit and became sick almost immediately, never recovering. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church on Wed. afternoon,. 29 June, 1892, Rev. C.H. Treglawny officiating. According to Debra LaFontaine, the two living sons were Charles Crocker and E.G. Crocker.
