In the 1870 census she was living alone at the age of 71. She is probably the Mrs. Jones who lived in a house on High Street, according to Scott's Map of Ruthland County, 1854, and the Beers Atlas of Rutland County, Vermont, 1886. Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, this house is said to have been built about 1860, classic cottage style. [2]
