  Notes	She was listed as 50 years old in the 1801 census, indicating that she was born in about 1750 - 1751, but listed as age 56 at time of death in 1813, indicating that she was born in 1757. On p. 658 of V&S a Lars Olsen Veningstad is said to have married Kari, who is said to have been a daughter of Gølik Knutson Lien (nørre I) and Kari Hansdotter [Beito?] (her second marriage). But -- the engagement record for Lars Olsen and Kari in 1784 gives her father's name as Thorsten, and all the baptism records for her children give her name as Thorsten (Tosten). Could she have been a daughter from the first marriage of Kari Hansdotter or could Tore Ey just be wrong about her father's name? Lars' mother was from Løken, where the church book record states that Lars and Kari were engaged. From naming tradition, her mother's name was probably Berit. I could find only two couples by the names of Tosten and Berit who were having children in this time period in Slidre -- Torsten Johanneson Bettoe and Beraette Laersdotter, and Torsten Knutson Bettoe and Beraette Gudliksdotter. Only two church book entries for baptisms were found for each of these couples, but neither was for a daughter named Kari. It is likely that there were more children who were not recorded.
