  Notes	In the 1865 census there was an Elsa Knudsdatter, age 45, wife of Haagen Andersen Stuvene. They lived at Lærdal, Tønjum, Sogn og Fjordane. Their oldest child was 16. Elsa is an uncommon name and this was the only one found in the entire country in the 1865 census whose father was Knud and who age was appropriate (age 20 in 1850) to have been the mother of Anders Andersen. The farm name Svein was in the birth record for son Anders. She may have been working on the Svein farm in Vang at that time. [2]
