- From Ancestral File (TM), data as of 2 January 1996. Came to Poultney, Vermont, with his brother Nathaniel, before the Revolutionary War, and settled in the north part of town. James lived many years after Nathaniel died. He had several children, among whom are remembered, Daniel, Bliss and Peter. Daniel and Peter both married daughters of Stephen Maranville. [1]
