    • James (third), came to Union, Connecticut. "He lived in the south part of town on the hillside between the Matthew Paul place and the one now [1893] occupied by Fred Barber. His first wife was Mary Grant, whom he married April 5, 1703. She died March 6, 1704. They had one child, James. He married, second, Hannah Phelps, July 15, 1708. She died July 13, 1760, aged 78."

      He was an attorney, "active in the Hartford County Probate Court, settling many estates as either a Court appointed Appraser or an Administrator. On 1 May 1739, James Eno appeared before the Court as the Attorney for Timothy Thrall."

Oct. 23, 1678 at Windsor and d. Mar. 6, 1703/4, Æ 26. One child was b. of this marriage, son James, b. Dec. 30, 1703 who d. young. James m. 2) July 15, 1708 at Windsor, Hannah Phelps, dau. of Capt. Timothy Phelps and Mary Griswold, b. Aug. 4, 1684 at Windsor. She d. at Union, Conn. July 15, 1760, Æ 92. Six children of the family. [1, 3]
