  Notes	He was given, or purchased, half of Windingstad (33/1 Øvre) from his father in 1800. They farmed together and for a time shared the house, but later Torgeir built a new house on Øvre Windingstad. From that time, Windingstad has been split into two farms. Torgeir made an equal exchange of his part in 1824, with Tollef Nilsen Dale. In 1827 he owned Dale 17/5. He was married to Guroe Tollefsdatter. He had at least three illegitimate children -- Torger and Torger when he was an unmarried soldier, and Barbro when he was married.
