  Notes	He was certainly a wealthy land owner. In 1567 he was one of the signers of the letter that the Valdres farmers wrote to the sheriff in Akershus. During the 7-Years War "Valdres" had signed a peace agreement with the Swedes on their own account, thereby avoiding a Swedish invasion. Now they were pleading for "good weather" from the Danish-Norwegian administration. [1]
