Notes |
- He took over the farm after his father in 1853, but he had probably already been farming it and, in 1839, he gave his siblings the crofter's place Grandin, which rejoined the Kasa farm when Ingvar died. Eirik sold the farm to Helge Olsson Øye for 1180 spd and emigrated to America in the spring of 1854 with his wife and all six living children. Helge was to provide a pension to Helge Eiriksson and his wife and wife's sister, Lisbet J. Sveji.
Eirik's brother, Johannes, claimed alodial rights to the farm and bought it from Helge Olsson for the aloidial appraisal of 1295 spd in 1857. [3]
