  Notes	Gunnhild was born in Norway same as Breta and emigrated with her parents when she was 7 years old. Her mother died shortly after they arrived in Wisconsin. She was known as Guri most of her life. I did find her in the Wisconsin1860 Federal Census as Julia Peterson with her family. Julia was the Americanized name for Guri. She was listed this way in the 1865 Minnesota State cenus. But my grandmoth er, Josephine Hovland Dorr, called her "Aunt Guri." They lived in Erskine (Polk County) Minnesota. Guri and Benjamin had no children of their own. They adopted a baby boy. His name was Edward Rustvold. Aunt Guri was his biological aunt. So he was a direct decent of Hovlands. Eddie grew up and married Randa Emily Dorr. She was called Emily. Shewas Carl Dorr's sister. Carl Dorr was married to Josephine Hovland andare my grandparents. Eddie and Emily had 3 children, Genevieve, Ellen, and Burton. Emily diedat a young age of pneumonia. Eddie found himself a widower with 3 youngchildren. Guri helped raised the children.
