Terry Steven Anfinson
1946-2009
Terry Steven Anfinson, Age 63 of Milton, Wash., passed away on Nov. 4, 2009, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, Wash., with his family by his side.
Terry Anfinson, the son of Orville and Colleen (McCusker) Anfinson was born June 24, 1946 in Faribault, MN. He grew up in Renton, WA and graduated from Renton High School and Green River Community College. Throughout his youth he was active in sports, including baseball, basketball and soccer. He married Jenine Marie Eddy in Reno, NV on Oct. 2, 1982. Terry worked for 35 years in the elevator trade retiring from Thyssen-Krupp Elevator. After retirement he was an elevator inspector for Washington State and worked part time at Home Depot.
Terry was known for his great sense of humor and intense loyalty to his family and friends. He had a generous spirit and a streak of mischievousness that made him a trusted confidante and a delightful friend. Along with spending time with family and friends, he loved to fish, camp, golf, barbeque, watch sports and woodworking.
He is survived by his daughters, Terena Anfinson and Holly Anfinson of Bonney Lake, Wash.; stepmother, Carol Anfinson of Federal Way, Wash.; sister, Carol (Leon) Vargo; nieces Jennifer Vargo, Jamie (Travis) Hausen; nephews, Jonathan (Katie) Vargo all of Faribault, and Jason Vargo of Morristown; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents Olavus and Josie Anfinson; Edward and Helen McCusker.
A memorial service was held on Nov 14 at Twin Cedars in Federal Way, WA.
