  Notes	It is likely that this is the father of the Anders Anderson who was born to Marith Olsdatter Lajord in Ontario after her emigration from Vang in 1862. There were only a few men by the name of Anders Andersen who were unmarried and of the appropriate age living in Vang at this time. This Anders was just a year older than Marith whereas the other persons by this name were at least five years younger. If Marith's son Anders were named according to tradition, he would have been named after his paternal grandfather, indicating that the father was named Anders Andersen rather than Anders with another patronymic.
