- 1790 census for Saratoga, New York, lists Miles and his son Isaac as heads of families. The family of Miles consisted of 3 men above 16 and 3 females, probably himself and his sons Ozias and Miles, and his wife and two unmarried daughters, Sarah and Patience.

Notes |
- Her parents are most likely to be Moses Lyon and Rachel Jackson, although G.T. Washburn says that Sarah was the daughter of Hezekiah Lyon, a neighbor in Kent. Need to check marriage records of Moses and Rachel as well as Miles and Sarah. Moses and Rachel are given as parents in the "Lyon's Tale" newsletter (p. 89), IGI, Ancestral File, etc. Hezekiah is named in G.T. Washburn's book. There were several women named Sarah Lyon in the area. Both Moses and William Lyon of Newtown had daughters named Sarah, but their wills were made before the daughters were married and no information is in the Danbury probates that would shed light on their husbands. She may have died at Saratoga before her husband Miles, at age 73, moved to Exeter, Otsego County, New York, with his son Miles Jr, or she may have moved with them and died in Exeter. [1]
