    • He was lensman (Sheriff) in Vang from 1831 to 1872. He took over Inr. 5, which Trond Bøyesson had owned, and in 1832 Inr. 4, after his brother Trond. His office on Stele was a special little room with a fireplace, which was later used as a seter on Stele's mountain pasture. Lars was a tall and straight main, with long hair that hung down in curly locks over his shoulders, and a reddish blond beard. He was a rich man.
