Trond gave Steinde to his eldest step son when Velgjerd died, and moved to Brekke 16/, which he had inherited from his brother Endre E. Lunde or Eltun when he died in 1693 without heirs. Trond continued to farm Steinde until 1700. Trond's great great grandfather was presumably Sigvat Lunde, who was a juror in Vang in 1591. He is one of the first we know from Lunde. Sigvats son was Lars Lunde, who was the farmer from about 1599. That year he was the tax collector for cattle slaughter. Lars was church warden about 1620.
