- See NEHGR Vol. 109 for extensive information. He was Survey of Highways in Boxford. He attended the church in Topsfield. He was appointed selectman in 1690 and 1701. On 25 Sep 1702 both Thomas and his brother Abraham were among a group who were granted, at their request, dismissal from the church in Topsfield to the church in Boxford, the letters dating 4 Oct 1702.
In 1701 Thomas carried the title of corporal and served with the militia in campaigns against the Indians. He may have died as a result of injuries or exposure during the Indian campaigns.
After his death, his children were under the direct protection and guardianship of the uncle, Abraham Redington, and, on his death in 1713, they inherited most of his estate. [1]
