- On 5 Aug 1665, Christopher Goodwin received a summons from the court. On 17 4th mo. 1667, "Watertown Order conc'g Bridge Complaint of Thomas Line against his servant John Stratton & Gordan Burrage agst the same tht on Election Day he was at John Harris, his house, playing at nine pins & cudgells with Sam Frathingham & Christopher Goodwin & others. Good Penticost named, a Sister of Stratton had died, was his excuss.."
On 29 Jul 1672, Christopher Goodman, Jr., 25 years old, was charged with a vicious assault on Thomas Welch, Jr., 17 years old, four days earlier. A detailed account was provided by Thomas Welch's mother and corraborated by four witnesses.

He is probably the Christopher Goodwin who was a soldier under Capt. John Cutler in King Philip's War -- Paid 00 16 02 on 24 Jul 1676 (NEHGR Vol. 42, p. 299 (1888).
Christopher Gooding junior was listed among others under "Taxes under Andros" in NEHGR Vol. 34, p. 271 (1880). At the end of the list (p. 275), with a date of 5 Sep 1683, it is probably him, rather than his father, who is named as one of the four Charlestowne Constables for the year.
In 1690, he was a bystander when maidservant Rebecca Lee was beaten violently in the Crosswells' house. He was on the side of the victim, who subsequently died.
When he died in 1703, he left £103 to his second wife, the widow Joanna (Long) Johnson. [2, 3, 4]
