| Notes |
- He may have been the priest in Vang and Slidre about whom little is known. From early documents it can be said that he was the priest in Vang from about 1598 and that he had either died or moved away by February 1608 when Jens Michelsen became the parish priest. Ødegaard (Tore Ey as pseudonym), in Vang og Slire, describes him as being the prost (dean or paster responsible for several parishes) for both Vang and Slire at the same time and this is supported by the fact that he did the accounting for the church at Lome (in Slidre) in 1600. Anders Stilloff argued that he was the son of the Anders Halvorsen Ellingbøe who drowned in Vangsmjøsa in 1582. [1, 2]
