    • She and her brother Jørgen emigrated to America and returned to visit Vang in 1898. They are listed in the Vang emigration records on 26 Aug 1896 as visiting from Minneapolis and returning on Stjernelinjen. She is listed as single, a seamstress, age 28. She is also listed as arriving at Ellis Island on 8 Sep 1898, on the S.S. Majestic, White Star Line, from Liverpool. The ship left Liverpool on 31 Aug 1890. She was listed as a U.S. Citizen, age 28, destination Minneapolis, from Vang.

      On the voyage from Liverpool to New York, Rangdi was accompanied by Berith Kvåle, age 26, also from Vang, but listed as a Swede! In digitalarkivet.no records, "Emigrantar over Bergen frå Austlandet." Berith is listed on the 26th of August 1898 as Britha Larsen Kvale, seamstress, born 1872 in Vang i Valdres, returning to Minneapolis on the Stjernelinjen after having been home for a visit.

      In the 1900 U.S. Census, Randi is listed as the sister of Jogen Ellingbo. He was born July 1867 and she was born June 1872. He immigrated 1885 and she immigrated 1890. She is listed as a seamstress. Also listed is a niece, Mary Ellingbo, born June 1883, immigration 1900.

      She married Hansen and had one daughter, according to Anders Frøholm (Vang A). [2]
