They farmed in the Dennison area until 1892 when they packed their belongings, four sons, John, Edward, Henry, and Severt, and joined his brother and sister in Wheatland Township, Day County, South Dakota Now the two brothers and their sister were farming within a mile of each other. All were members of the St. Paul Lutheran Church just south of their farms."
