  Notes	Together with his uncle Thomas (Tomas N. Bøe 1872-1965), he was a border guard in 1905, the same year that he acquired his farm. He cleared a lot of new farm land, toiling with stones and turf. In 1923 he build a new dwelling in the middle of the farm yard. At the same time, "Nordistøga" was torn down and all the small storage buildings are now gone.
