Anderson March 10, 1919 - Dec. 15, 2009 MURDOCK - Theodora Alvina Anderson, 90, of rural Murdock, died Tuesday at Golden Living Center in Benson. MURDOCK - Theodora Alvina Anderson, 90, of rural Murdock, died Tuesday at Golden Living Center in Benson. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scandia Lutheran Church in rural Glenwood. Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Sunburg Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church. She was born March 10, 1919, in Kerkhoven Township, Swift County, to Ralph and Emma (Ellingboe) Gronseth. She grew up in Kerkhoven Township and attended school at District 66. She married Norine J. Anderson on March 20, 1940. They lived and farmed in rural Murdock. She was a member of Scandia Lutheran Church where she was active with the Scandia WMF. She is survived by her children: LeVina (and John) Giinther of Minneapolis, Verlaine (and Jon) Opsahl of Bloomington, Robert Anderson of Benson, Larry Anderson of Murdock, Leland Anderson of Murdock and Arlan Anderson of Murdock; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981, two brothers and six sisters. [1]
