  Notes	He went to non-commissioned officer's school and was a non-commissioned officer for many years. Knut was a community leader, involved with the district council, town board, tschool committee, tax commission and parsonage management. His son Nils inherited Ellingbø from his uncle, but Knut farmed it from 1918 to 1936. He helped to build the Bøe cabin at Tango and put on an addition. Lars Bøe's family, including Harald Bøe, often stayed with him before driving up to Tangadn in the summer time. There was a close relationship between the brothers Knut and Lars Bøe. Knut built a "sele" at Ellefstølen in 1917, a new mill in 1920 and a new dwelling house in 1922. He broke much new farm land. Knut died at the old peoples nursing home in Vang.
