- He was assessed in the Beekman Precinct in June 1763 and June 1767 at 1 pound and was taxed through 1769. In June of 1728, he and his wife were sponsors for Rebecca, daughter of Joris and Mary ___ Elsworth at Newburgh. Annatjen Elsworth and her husband Josias Crego were sponsors for Benjamin's daughter Aaltjen at her baptism 6 Jul 1720 at Poughkeepsie. [2]
