    I 1934 fikk han kjøpe endel av heimstøljordet til gården Karlshaug. Det var ikke mer enn 5 mål, men Torstein bygde fjøs og hadde 4-5 kyr på det meste. Han kjøpte for i tillegg. Han fikk kjøpt seg stølsrett på Beitostølen.Datteren Arnlaug fikk gård en mens han levde, men moren skulle få bo der så lenge hun ville. Idag er det ingen som bor på Liborg.
