Nå advarer både Midthus og Forbrukerrådet i Oppland mot Multivic. - I flor lokka de med en gratis kaffetrakter om jeg bestilte varer, for 300 kroner. Sidene skrev de at jeg ikke kunne få kaffetrakteren, fordi Forbrukerombudet hadde fortalt dem at norsk lov ikke tillater slike premier. I stedet fikk jeg en gave sjekk- på 500 kroner. Jeg kjøpte ei barbermaskin som ikke fungerte og noen håndklær som raskt ble utslitt. En mopp var det eneste som var verd noe, sier Einar Midthus i Aurdal. Han tok seg ikke bryet med å klage eller returnere varene. Det regna han med bare betydde ekstra utlegg for ham.

    Nytt tilbud I år fikk Midthus nye tilbud fra Multivic. Barbermaskina fra i fjor var fortsatt med. Sammen med fargerike kataloger fulgte et personlig adressert brev undetegna av direktør Petter Manley. Direktøren lurte på hvorfor Midthus ikke hadde hent a en gevinst som var trukket ut til ham. - Vi ber deg gi oss beskjed om du vil ha gevinsten. Hvis ikke må du gi oss fullmakt til å selge den på auksjon, skriver direktør Manley. Så opplyser direktøren at Einar Midthus sjøl må betale frakt på gevinsten. Det kan fort bli dyrt, så Manley anbefaler Midthus å bestille varer for 300 kroner.

    Da skal Multivic betale frakta på gevinsten. - Men jeg lar meg ikke lure en gang til, og finner grunn til å advare folk til å falle for fristelsen, sier Midthus. - Forbrukerrådet i Oppland har hatt 20 til 30 henvendelser om dette firmaet i det siste. Vi varsler Forbrukerombudet som kan stop pe markedsføringa. Men saksbehandlinga tar litt tid. Jeg pleier å si til folk som ringer, at jeg ikke tror på julenissen og er sikker på at postordrenissen heller ikke fins, sier rådgiver Halgeir Jansen. Multivic oppgir en postboksadresse og gateadresse Ensjøveien i Oslo. Husnummeret er imidlertid ikke oppgitt så det blir ikke lett å besøke firmaet.
