Dette reiste han rundt og solgte. Han lagde også mye i messing og stasseletøyet som fortsatt brukes på hestene i Valdres , kan stamme fra ham. Arne kjøpte Ukshøvdsmarke i 1856, men ble boende på plassen til han døde.
