De hadde 2-4 kyr og svart noen penger til hovedbruket og skulle slå 4 markateiger. Jøger var innerst på Berge før han kom tilHåliehaugen omkring 1800. Da sønnen Hallvard reiste til Amerika ble plassen lagt inn under hovedbruket igjen.

    Han fikk auksjonsskjøte på den sørre parten av farsgården, sammen med farbroren Knut Hallvardsen Leite den 16.12.1830, men han kjøpte Myre i 1843 og giftet seg siden med enken der, og flyttet han dit. Den eldste sønnen hans overtok hele Leite so m ungdom med faren som formynder. I 1843 lyste Knut datteren sin, Ambjørg 1827- som han hadde med Marit Jøgersdtr Hålieiga i "kull og kjønn"

    Gullik O Garstad (1844-1909) fikk Garstad 104/1-2 og drev den. Han var gift med Berit Johannesdtr Hålien (1850-1937). De hadde barna: Ola (1880- ) til USA, utdannen ingeniør, Johannes (1884- ) til USA, forretningsmann. I USA ble han ranet og skutt.     Peder G Garstad (1889-1970( ble eier av gården i 1919, men drev den sammen med moren fra faren døde. han brøt opp 20 dekar åker. gift i 1925 med Sigrid Andrisdtr Skjefte fra (108/1) (1892-1980), deres barn er: Berit (1926-1968), gift med Leif Myhre fra Myre 103 i Høre, bosatt i Spydebegr. Ingebjørg (1928-1987) gift med Ola L Myhre, bosatt i Oslo, eier av Garstad 104/1-2. Gullik (1929-1987) var grb på Garstad 104/1-2 til han døde. Ugift. Ranghild (1933-1942) Margit (1939- ), sykepleier, bosat i Lærdal, gift med sjåfør Anders Bjarnesen Molde.
