    Han fikk skjøte på gården i 1768, men nå var definitivt velstanden borte for godt. Han sleit veldig for å holde på bruket, og måtte selge flere deler av det.. I 1793 overlot han gården til sønnen Ola i 1793. Gullik og Gjertrud hadde 5 barn so m vi kjenner navnet på: Ola 1769-1809, Ingebjørg 1772- Jon 1775- til Købehavn, Ambjørg 1737 gi 1799 med Ola Andrisson Lome, og Jul 1780-1807.

Faren var Ola Olsen Egge, han var gift med datterdatter til Ole Amundsen Granheim som hadde eid gården tidliger, og brorsønn til den nåværende eier Halvard Olsen Egge. Ola fikk gården 1810. Ola O (1789-1830) og Mari t hadde også sønnen Ola O Lome som overtok da daren døde. Hans sønn het også Ola og overtok i 1872, men fikk store pengevansker og måtte selge gården.

    Han kjøpte tilbake gården av Ola E Vøvle 16.10.1809 for 800 rd. I 1814 lånte han minst 600 rd av Krigshospitalkassa. 1.12.1821 solgte han gården til svogeren Thomas Thomassen Tørstad for 449 spd og var siden innerst og livårsmann her. Han protesterte mot at Thomas pantasatte endel av gården før han hadde fått livårskontrakt. Barna hans dro til USA og slo seg ne d bl.a. i Goodhue CO.WI. Det skriver Frøholm, men det riktige er at han flyttet til Hovda i VS. Svært mange av denne slekta har vært dyktige håndverkere og noen har vært store kunstnere. Gullik f.eks. har dekorert kirken i Vang og malt altertavla i Høre stavkirke i 1828.

    Han fikk gården av faren mellom 1805 og 1810. I 1818 klarte han ikke å holde de mange kreditorene unna, og søkte om et større pengelån for å sanere gjelda. Takstdokumentet viser at det var en veldrevet gård med bra hus. Pengelånet hjalp ikke, ha n måtte selge unna en hel del av gården, og tilslutt måtte ha "fantegå" fra hele bruket. Det vil si at han gikk konkurs. Det var boren til moren Øystein Øysteinson Kjøs som kjøpte gården. Gullik var gift to ganger.
