    Notes:

    Reidar navnet kommer fra Melby, hvor mormoren hans kom fra, Reidar ble den siste leilending i Rolandsgården, han fikk skjøte av sokneprest Feldmann u 1788, bare 11 år gammel. Det var nik faren som drev gården, men tanten Anne, var formynder for Re idar. I 1806 bygde han nytt våningshus, som fortsatt er i bruk på gården.

    Notes:

    Han var komunepolitiker, lærer, rosemaler og mye mer. Han var den første selveieren på Rolandsmarké. Broren Ola d.e. hadde først gården, men overdro bygselskjøtet til Ola i 1855. Han var ordfører i Østre Slidre fra 1866 til 1875.

    Beitrusten skriver i "Garder og Slekter i Øystre Slidre": Ole Reidarsen d.y. kon frå sjølve Rolandsbgården, og det var hans eldste bror, Ola d.e., som var den første sjølveigaren på der. Ole d.y. fekk skjøte på ein del av farsgarden i 1855, og bygde opp Rolandsmarké, ofte kalla berre Marké. "Reirson" var skulelærer i 1860 årene, han var en flink rosemålar og ein av skiparane av Øystre Slidre sparebank. I kommune styret sat han i fleire periodar og vart også ordførar i 1866. Det vervet hadde han 10 år. O.R.Skattboe var på mange måta r ein opplyst og framsynt mann. Det hadde forresten vore på nære nippet at han strauk til Amerika i sine unge år. Han er registrert som utvandrer i 1851, saman med kone og dei to eldste ungane, men presten har notert i margen: "Denne Familie kom ei afsted" og det var kanskje byg da Øystre Slidre tent med." I 1883 solgte han Rolandsmarké til Gudbrans Andrisson Skattebu.

    Han overtok Køllstad etter faren, men da var bruket blitt så lite at han solgte det omkring 1860 og tok med seg kona og de to barna han hadde til Ringebu i Gudbrandsdalen. I boka om Buggeslekten i Valdres heter det at han tok med barna og reiste til Amerika, men inbgen tyder på at det er riktig. Han meldte flytting til Ringebu 9. juni 1860 og jeg kan ikke finne at han har reist derfra til Amerika.

Da han ga fra seg gården til sønnen Ole, ble 39/10 skilt ut og gitt til svigersønnen Knut Kn utsen Bjellebøle. Denne plassen ble kalt Vngenstein.
