    Einar og brødrene Nils og Herbrand flyttet til Lærdal rundt 1700, angivelig for å slippe militærtjeneste, men de hadde nok nær slekt der også. Moren var fra Rer-Hegg I 1701 var han tjener på Hillestad. Han ble "støgomann" på Maritova da han gifte t seg med en av døtrene der. Brødrene hennes hadde nok ikke råd til å ta over driften. Det er ikke så lett å finne ut noe om Einar og driften av fjellstua, men det ser ut som han hadde ganske god råd. Hvorfor ingen av barna overtok, vet jeg ikke . Se om barna under kona hans.
