  1. 1.  Ove Olsen Wangensteen KVIEN was born on 20 Jun 1909 in Kvien 96/11; died on 24 Apr 2001 in Kvien 96/11; was buried on 4 May 2001 in Høre Stavkirke.

    Notes:

    Han tok navnet Kvien fordi det var flere Ove Wangensteen. grb 1941-82. Han var i herredstyret i 16 år, og i liknings- og jordstyret, første formann i bygningsrådet, fylkesskolestyret og styret for Oppland E-verk, mm. Han drev sagbruket på Kviesmoen opp fra 1948, han overlot dette til sønnene i 1978. Han bygde på våningshuset i 1954 og nye støler. Han var ogåå med i andelslaget Fram. Han fikk kreft og lå på sykehus sammen med Arne Borø.

    Han ga gården til den eldste sønnen Ola i 1982. I 1979 brant det store våningshuset på gården. Mye gammelt innbo og mange gamle papir som Ove hadde samlet, gikk med. Etter brannen bygde Ove og sønnen Ola hvert sitt vånngshus. Noe som gikk med i brannen var en meget gammel bok, hvor det var skrevet inn alle fødselsdager i familien, flere hundre år tilbake.
