    Frøholm sier han ikke er døpt i Vang, men det er ganske sikkert at han er sønn til Andris og Kjersti. Han fikk Røe (Rudi 951-6) da han giftet seg med enken der. De kjøpte Lokreim i 1788. Lars mistet livet på Fillefjell en uke før jul i 1817. Ha n hadde antakelig vært på handletur i Lærdal.

Vang Cem., Holden Twp., Goodhue Co., MN), tailor and spelemann, m. 1X Anne Øysteinsdtr Løkreim (Berge?), (1806 - 1850). One child: Christopher (3-Nov-1830, Vang, Valdres - 29-Dec-1906, Vang, Goodhue Co., MN; bur. Vang Cem.), also tailor and spelemann. (see below)

    Lars Christopherson Løkreim m. 2X Anna Knutsdtr Remme(29-Dec-1823, Vang, Valdres -21-May-1903, Goodhue Co., MN). Apparently no children were born to this union.

    Lars (1802), w. Anna (1823), and son Christopher (1830) checked out of Vang parish on March 26, 1857, and immigrated together(May 3, 1857) on the vessel Olaf, first to Decorah, IA, for 3 months, then on to Goodhue Co., MN. With them was Lars's ne ice Gertrude Endresdtr, who was the daughter of Anne Christophersdtr [Løkreim] (1810 - 1861) (the only living sibling who did not immigrate) and husband Endre Olsen Lien/Dalsødegaarden. Lars's family settled in the Vang settlement in Warsaw Twp. , Goodhue Co., in the rolling hills between the settlements Sogn and Dennison (near Hwys. 56 and 246), not far from where Lars's brothers Iver and Gullick were homesteading in Northfield Twp., Rice Co. Iver Christopherson Lockrem's son Christophe r married Gertrude Endresdtr. The Lockrem brothers' sister, widow Gertrude Tviet, also immigrated in 1864 and settled in Warsaw Twp. Lars Lockrem's family was active in the development of Vang Lutheran Church.

The family checked out of Vang parish to immigrate on April 2, 1856. They had resided at the Kvien farm in Vang (same large farm, also described as a manor, that Iver Christopherson's family had been at). Gullick was a tailor.

    The family appears in Northfield Twp. in 1857, 1860, and 1870 censuses. Gullick homesteaded 80 acres in Northfield Twp. (twp.#111), Section 33, near Iver who was in Section 32. Gullick registered his land claim in 1861 in the land office in Hend erson, MN.

    The family settled two years in Iowa, then went to Warsaw Twp, Goodhue Co., MN, where they settled 5 1/2 miles east of Dennison. Gjertrud joined Vang Church, Goodhue Co., MN, 1869. In the 1880 Minnesota census, Gertrud is shown living with so n "Christ" and family, all using the last name Thompson. In the same census, Berit is shown living with Lars and family, also they use the name Thompson. Son Thomas and family uses the name Twite in the census. According to Forrest Brown of th e Norwegian American Historical Association, some family records appear under the name Thompsen and others under the name Tveit.
