Det heter: "Jeg underskrevne Ole Andersen Skatteboe gjør hermed for alle vitterlig, at jeg til soldat Erik Halvorsen og forøvig kan hende Hustrue, haver bortsatt Brugelighed en til mi n Gaard Skatteboe beliggende plads Haugen kaldet, av saadan Vidde hjemme og paa Sætteren som førhen haver været brugt --". Den årlige leien var 12 riksdaler og plassen skulle tilfalle hovedbruket når husmannsfolkene døde. I 1823 bygslet Erik et stykke som ble kalt Hagin i tillegg til husmannsplassen . Bruket var skyldsett 7 år før han døde, og etter hans død, solgte Anders Olsen Skattebu bruket til sønnen sin; Peder.

    Han kom fra en plass under Skattebu. Han kom til Hølet omkring 1840. I 1865 var han meget fattig og hadde ikke krøter i det hele tatt på gården. Sønnen Bendik overtok plassen etter faren og kjøpte bruket i 1873, men det var et ørlite og dårlig opp arbeidet bruk, så han klarte ikke holde på det. Det ble derfor solgt på auksjon i 1894 og fattigstellet i Rogne sogn fikk tilslaget for 531 kroner.
