    Han fikk halve godset Kvåle, nerre, av faren, broren Torkild fikk andre halv- parten, som kalles Julsgården Jøgers del av Kvåle ble Olsongården. Han drev Olsongården i alle fall til 1664 og eide 2 huder og ett skinn bonde- gods og kirkeparte n på 5 mæler korn, noe som svarer til omtrent halvparten av farsgården, hele Store-Kvåle. I dokumentene heter det at han var 65 år i 1664. han hadde sønnene Ola og Gullik og dattern Berit (gm Ola Knutsen Mo)

    Han overtok Olsongården etter faren ca 1670, men har nok drevet gården adskillig før det. Men faren døde antakelig på den tiden og ved skiftet fikk han skjøtet. Han løste inn en rekke småparter, slik at det aller meste ble av bondegodset ble selveiergods i hans brukstid. Han kalles ofte Oluf. Han var gift med Marit Mikkelsdtr (Mechelsdøtte). De hadde to døtre: Gjartrud (Iartrud)(1683- ) og Guri (1685- ) Guri var gift med Gudbrand O Hodne, etter Tore Ey. Tore Ey skriver i "Vang og Slire": "Knut Gudbrandson Onstad, Knut Olson Nordtorp, Jøger Pederson Eikerbakke og Rangdi Pedersdøtte Lomen, selde 6 sjinn i Kvåle te hono Ola Jøgerson i 1686. I 1690 stevner Nils Haug, Gjermund Lomen, Aslak Hovi og Knut Ellestad, Ola Jøgerson Kvåle på 1 1/2 skind gods i hans gård Kvåle, som de har arvet og han har brugt uden å betale landskyld. Ole Jøgerson sier at han har betalt til Jøger Eikerbakke og han la fram pantebrev av 27. May 1634." Videre heter det i rettsdokumentene: "Jøger Eikerbakkes datter, Barbro bekjender, at Ole Jøgersen og hans far har udlagt på de 4 skind i nedre Kvale 12 rd." Det ser ut til at Jøger vant saken. Ved sin død eide han 19 skinn i Store-Kvåle.
