    Ivar giftet seg andre gang i 1825 med Ingeborg Eriksdtr Teigstolen. Jeg har ikke funnet barn etter dem, det er kanskje ikke så rart, for Ivar var over 70 år da han giftet seg med Ingeborg. Han fikk skjøte bare ett år før han ga den videre til si n sønn Jørgen, men han må ha drevet sammen med faren i ganske mange år før han formelt overtok.

    Han kjøpte plassen Vikhagen i 1802, så skriver Beitrusten i "Gardar og slekter i Vestre Slidre" at "sonen Ivar overtok i 1904." Dette er FEIL, faren til Ivar Endre Ivarsen Ringestad overtok gården lenge før dette. Endre var grand, grand nevøen til Haldor. Hvordan han fikk Vikhagen, vet jeg ikke, og jeg vet heller ikke noe om etterommerene etter Haldor og Guri Tommasdtr.

    Geir Beitrusten skriver i "Garder og slekter i Vestre Slidre": "Før 1802 var Vikhagen ein husmannsplass under Nedre Vik. I 1751 fekk Henrik Knutsen kontrakt på Hagen for 3 rd. i årleg leige. Plasse var helst opprydda nokre år i førvegen, men det er lite å finne om denne plassen på 1700-talet. Eg veit heller ikkje kven som var husmann her på 1700-talet, men ca 1799 fekk Erik Mikjelsen Kolstad kontrakt på plassen. I 1802 kjøpte han bruket for 699 rd. Same året selde han det til landhandlar Andersen (på Hausåker), men han selde straks ti l Haldor Knutsen Ringestad. Haldor var ein overlag flink sølvsmed, kanskje den beste som bygda har fostra. Han hadde verkstad litt nedanfor husa på Vikhagen (rive i 1929), og han arbeide mest heime. Mange av sølvsakene vart sendte til England, men det fins også ting etter ha n i Vestre Slidre. Det har gått ei herme etter han: "Ein go kar! Ko æ dæ då? Ein go kar æ den so æ den so kan gjera noko so ingji kan gjera ette. Den rekna e før å vera eingo kar." Etter denne definisjonen var nok Haldor ein godkar! Han var ein opplyst mann for sin tid, - han kunne skrive og rekne, og han lærde opp mange av dei andre Ringestadsølvsmedane." I 1801 var han inderst på Løken.

    Hun er datter til Peder Iversen Viken (59/1) som overtok gården i 1790 årene. Faren hans Iver Pedersen fikk gården i 1750-årene av sin far. Iver Torsteinson som igjen fikk gården av sin far Iver Torsteinson Neste som fikk bygsesddel på krongodse t rundt 1690. Karis bror Iver Pedersen overtok gården rundt 1820, sønnen hans, Jøger Iversen fikk Vika i 1859. Det var en vanskelig tid for småbrukerne og i 1866 solgte han gården og dro til USA med kone og 5 små barn. (se Holien-boka)

    Jørgen var med i det første kommunestyret i Slidre (1838) Geir Beitrusten skriver i "Garder og slekter i Vestre Slidre":" Navnet Jørgen eller Jørn kom til Ringestad ved at kona til Ivar, (altså Marit Vik, moren til denne Jørgen, HBs anm) var barnbarnet til den gamle Vangsprspresten Jørgen Greel." Dette er definitivt feil. Marit var barnebarn til Jørn A Ellingbø (1702- ), men han igjen var barnebarnet til Jørgen Greel og Dorthe Colding. Marit Vik er altså tipp-tipp oldebarnet til Jørgen Greel. Men navnet Jørgen kan altså godt komme fra ham.

    Med sin første mann, Ola Endresen Røn, fikk hun sønnen Peder i 1800, han døde året etter. Ingrid var bare 15 år da hun giftet seg med Ola.

    Geir Beitrusten skriver i "Garder og slekter i Vestre Slidre": "Ola Endresen hadde gifta seg med dotra åt Peder Knutsen Einang i von om at han skulle få skøyte på Einang. Då det kom til stykket, fekk han ikkje Einang, og då ville ikkje Ola vite no e av kjerringa si heller. Han forlangte noko så uvanleg i dei tider som skilsmål, og påsto mellom anna i retten at kona hans sto i med ein av tenestegutane. Det var neppe sant, og like etterpå døyde han"." Under merknadene til gården Einang skriver Beitrusten om moren til Ingrid, Barbro: "Ho var fyrste gong gift med Ole Monsen Ferden og andre gong med Peder Knutsen Ringestad. I dei åra ho var gift med Ole Ferden, vart desse to bruka brukte saman, og Peder Ringestad brukte i tillegg også ei tid Ormestad. med Peder ser det ut til at velstandstidene vart innleide, han hadde penga og kjøpte attåt Nørdre Einang i 1785. Den eldste dotra, Ingrid, vart soleis eit gjævt gifte, og Ole Endresen Røn gjorde ein avtale om henne då ho berre var 15 år gammal. Dei trulova seg, og Ole flytte til Einang i sikker tru på at han skulle fø skøyte på garden. Men då gamle Peder lærde han å kjenne, ville han ikkje gje han skøyta likevel. Så ville ikkje Ole gifte seg, men presten Feldmann gjekk på han, og dermed vart dei gifte. Men etter år eller to, ville Ole skilje seg! Det vart sak av dette i 1801, og som påskott hevda han at Ingrid Pedersdotter hadde stått i med tenesteguten Torgeir Nilsen, ja at ungen ho fekk var sonen hans. Påstanden hans vart ikkje trudd på og skilsmisse vart det ingenting av."

    Ingrid og Endre fortsatte i sitt ekteskap i omkring tre år etter dette, før Endre døde, hvordan dette ekteskapet var, er det ingen som skriver noe om, men flere barn fikk de ialfall ikke!

    Hun arvet Ormestad og drev den og antakelig Skammestein i ØS hvor mannen kom fra. Ola og Gro hadde i tillegg til Seborg også barna: PEDER (1808- ) gm Berit Gulliksdtr Hovi. Peder fikk Ormestad i 1829, og hans sønn Gullik overta i 1867. Han hadd e mye gjeld og gården ble solgt på tvangsauksjon i i 1886 til Einar Einarsen Heen. Dessuten hadde Ola og Ingeborg: INGRID (1819- ) og TORSTEIN (1821- )
