    Hun var pioner kom først til Goodhue Co MN, men giftet seg i Willmar MN. Etter å ha bodd hos sin søster Berit en stund, og fått sønnen Otis, flyttet hun og mannen til Wisconsin, og bygde opp en farm i nærheten av Baldwin. De hadde også to jente r Berta og Ida. Ingen av dem giftet seg.
