- He was Alderman of Valenciennes in 1466 and 1491. He was Royal Governor in 1480 (source: Library of Valenciennes, "Magestrates of the City of Valenciennes" MSS 550-767).
The Henne Coat of Arms is described as "Azure blue background field, a silver chevron, two stars in gold at top, and a silver crescent inside chevron pointing up". Copy certified by library of Valenciennes, and stamped with the seal of the City and the seal of the French Government. Research done by Dr. Henry Lane Eno, descendant, who from 1915 to 1920 was a member of the faculty of Princeton University. [1]
