- Guri continued the tradition of open house and hospitality at the mountain summer farm. Harald Bøe said that he lived near Bøland in the summers. He helped with the barn chores, among other things. It was lively and enjoyable all the time. Once they had goats at Tango. They led the goats from Stele. Guri was a good singer and she wrote many songs. She belonged to the Vang sanglag. She was a first-class farmer's wife. Many of her animals won awards. She also spoke the Vang dialect and taught it to her children. Guri died at about 9:45 in the morning at Søvelheim, which she and her husband had bought when they gave their farm to their son Ola.
